Business Publications More Valuable To The American Workforce Than B2B Web Sites and Trade Shows According to a recent Fairfield Research, Inc. study, nearly half (43%) of all employed Americans (including part-time and blue-collar employees) feel that trade and business publications provide them with valuable information that helps them perform their jobs better. Trade and business publications were viewed as being more valuable than B2B web sites (35% found valuable) or trade shows (40% found valuable).
Higher income workers found all three media information sources to be more valuable than the average worker. Sixty-two percent (62%) of those workers with incomes over $75,000 found trade and business publications to be valuable to them by providing information that helped them in their job. Likewise, these high-income workers found B2B Web Sites and Trade Shows significantly more valuable than the average worker.
Study Methodology Fairfield contacted by telephone a stratified, random and representative sample of n=1,000 adults. Surveys were conducted throughout a one-week period to avoid any weekend/weekday biases in media behaviors. The maximum error range for the study is plus or minus 3.1 percentage points at the 95% Confidence Level.
